I am passionate about education and science, and have always had an analytical mind. I have a Master's in Earth Science and am currently working on my Doctorate in Civil Engineering. I use my scientific skills to further research candle ingredients and processes so that we as a company can stay up to date with industry standards and safety requirements.

I have never been able to feel at home anywhere unless there is a candle lit somewhere. I am and always have been in love with the smell, the light and the general aura that candles bring. This is why I am motivated to create a brand and business which is affordable but also conscious of the environment. I want all our customers to feel the joy our candles bring, not only to their homes but also their wallets and their consciences.
Hannah Renouard
Because of my deep love of the outdoors, sitting by a campfire is one of my favorite pastimes, but that can be hard to do when living in states like Montana and Wyoming where the cold and snow takes over most of the year. In order to create that cozy campfire feel year-round, I began collecting candles. One of my favorite evening winter activities is winding down in a warm, cozy candlelight room with wine or a warm drink and my favorite scent in the air. I joined the Sustainably Lit team to help create great options for everyone looking for clean, sustainable ingredients in the candles they use to create their own cozy atmosphere.
