Sustainably Lit found its origin in our childhood kitchen. Our Mom (pictured) is one of the most generous and creative people we know, and first got into candle making so that she could give high-quality but affordable gifts to our friends and family. After extensive research, Mom ordered her first candle supplies, and started pouring! A scientist at heart, she experimented endlessly with different waxes, scents, wicks, containers and dyes. At long last, she arrived at the recipe for success: dye-free soy wax, non-toxic scents, and all-natural braided cotton wicks.
